… It is by far, my favorite way to add texture to my card – dry or heat if fine with me.
When I saw the 2012 challenge schedule for The Pixie Cottage design team, that was what I made a beeline for! That’s the challenge theme for this week at The Pixie Cottage – use embossing. You could also make a card using the sketch below (either theme or sketch or both is fine):
I made my card using the embossing theme this week, here it is:
I used The new Pixie Cottage stamp Sebastian the Snowman. Ribbon is from Michael’s Arts and Craft Store. Swiss dots embossing folder is from Cuttlebug. I also heat embossed the swiss dot background with some halographic embossing power. The background stamping around the snowman is Stampendous Cling Snow Swirls and embossed with Stampendous Shabby white embossing enamels and embellished with Stampendous Shaved Ice. Yup – I got carried away with all that embossing – it’s so much fun!
So now it’s your turn to go emboss something – don’t forget to turn off your heat gun – you don’t want to burn anything down. That’s my PSA for the day!
The randomly picked winner of their choice of two fabulous Pixie Cottage stamps.
Happy heating in this cold cold January!
