Did you know that Flower Soft has held their 1st Flower Soft certification at CHA Winter 2012? Well, I attended that certification and I am one of 12 people who are certified instructors for the Flower Soft products. But a lot of people have been asking me – what is there to be trained about – just glue and sprinkle – how difficult could that be?
That part is not difficult – fluff it up, dab on glue and sprinkle it on. But what really opened my eye is the various ways to use that product beyond just on flowers and flower centers. For one, you could use it to make borders and that’s what I did on my card today.
The scenic window image is from the Flower Soft starter kit. I used a variety of Flower Soft colors to add texture to the flowers and also to create moss on the paved walk, the flower edging border and the flower pots. To create a dimensional look of depth on the glass doors, I stacked on more 3D foam tape to the outer edges of the door and less 3D foam tape on the inner edges of the door – another trick I learnt from the certification class.
You could also create fur texture with it – but that will be for another post.
