Good morning friends,
Have you ever done some Spring cleaning and realize there are tons of dies, inks, supplies that you have not used in a while? Guilty here!!
I found my Papertrey Ink cupcake die that was collecting dust so I decided to use it for something other than a birthday card. I used it for a wedding card instead – pairing it with the fairly new Crafter’s Companion Morehead Collection. They are such an adorable little boy and girl pair and I cannot get enough of them! It’s right here:
I used the Marriage stamp set in that collection and colored them sparingly with Spectrum Noir markers. I left most of their clothes uncolored with the exception of creating shadow and folds. Took me a while to let go of the idea that I had to color every single part of an image!
Here are the markers I did used:
- Hair: GB3, GB4, GB5
- Skin: FS2, FS3, PP1
- Pinks: PP3, PP4, PP5, PP6
- Green (leaves): DG3
- Shadow (on clothes): BG1
Patterned paper and sentiment sticker are from Momenta. Love these really convenient sentiment stickers!
