Bunches of Love

Hello hello my friends!!

I hope you’ve all had a fun Halloween this week and have started settling down a little. I’m feeling a bit ill from all that candy and ghostly orange, purple, black and colorful decorating I feel like need to start a clean slate for a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving rolls around.

So here is my clean slate:

I have found the perfect color for coloring transparent/glass things – BGR1 and BT1 of my Spectrum Noir markers!

I used BGR1 to give the glass abit of shadow and BT1 in the water to give some reflective shadow from the plant. I have found that less is definately more when coloring transparent objects and don’t be afraid to leave some areas uncolored.

The refreshing jar of flowers is from Sheena Douglas A Little Bit Sketchy Stamp Set – Busy Doing Nothing and those sentiments are from Popcorn the Bear Bunches of Love stamp set – aren’t those fonts lovely. I love mixing and matching image and sentiment from different sets – they all go so well together yet have just enough difference to make it unique.
