Christmas is coming …

Welcome everyone!

Yeah yeah yeah – it’s a triple yeah because I love Wags ‘n Whiskers (WnW) stamps, Christmas is coming and this is my favorite holiday of the year and my birthday is 2 days before Christmas too!! It’s all good.

The challenge this week at WnW is Christmas theme. One random participant will win a Free Wags ‘n Whiskers Rubber stamp! You don’t need to use a WnW image on your project to enter the challenge, but if you do, you will be entered into a 2nd drawing for a Free Wags ‘n Whiskers Digital Stamp!! Two chances to win!! If you are in need of a WnW design, click here for Rubber stamps, and here for Digis! Here is my card:

I love how versatile this stamp is – put on some mistletoe and you get a Christmas card; slap on a heart and it’s a Valentine image, I can see myself using this for an anniversary card as well. The papers on this card is from Authentique Paper and the little duck is from Crafter’s Companion.

It’s your turn – let’s see what you’re sending out this Christmas.

The Pixie Cottage Christmas card

Hi everyone,

I’m so excited that today is my 1st post with The Pixie Cottage design team.

As always, we have 2 parts to the challenge and you can choose either or both to play along with. This week theme is to make a Christmas card and/or use the sketch below:

I decided to use the theme and made a Christmas card. Here is mine:

DP is from Authentique Paper, embossed frame around the cardinal is from Spellbinders. Both can be found at Michelle’s Scrapbooking & More.

Would you come and play with us today? The randomly picked winner will win two stamps of their choice from the Pixie Cottage Collection. The winner will be announced on the Friday after the challenge ends on The Pixie Cottage blog.

Have a great day!

Breast Cancer Awareness month

Hello everyone,

This month is Breast Cancer Awareness month! Don’t forget to do your monthly checks. It could save your life.

Sweet and Sassy stamps is kind enough to provide the prizes for this week’s USE PINK challenge at Tuesday Throwdown. The image and sentiment I used for my card is also provided by Sweet and Sassy stamps. Thank you so very much Kori and Dan.

Here is my pink and white card:

Background was embossed using Spellbinders Impressabilities. Patterened paper frame is from Authentique Paper Collection. Butterfly was colored using Copic Markers RV02 and RV04.

I enjoy making these white on white cards – for some reason, they make me feel very relaxed. Have a relaxing rest of the week.

Good morning friends,

It’s been a busy couple of weeks preparing for my upcoming expo (see events tab for details). However, every so often, it’s a reprise to do cards just for no reason other than for me, for fun.

Here are 2 cards I created for the Moxie Fab Sketch challenges that are going on every day all week.

Matching Sets

Good morning peeps!

I’d like to share a set of 3 pictures I colored, decorated and framed for a matching set of gifts.

The 1st is Crissy Armstrong’s BBQ Bart that I shared in a previous post – after creating it, I decided it looked too nice that I had to frame it.

The 2nd is also an image from the Crissy Armstrong collection – Jelly Bean the Elephant, decorated and framed in matching background from the Authentique Paper collection.

The 3rd image is from Meljen’s design – Cat and Mouse.

All images are colored using Copic Markers and pattern papers are from Authentique Paper – they are a gift for my sister-in-law who has been kind enough to watch my kids while I craft and blog about it.
