Gourmet Rubber Stamp Color Challenge

Hello my friends,

Welcome to Gourmet Rubber Stamp April color challenge. Here is the deal …

GRS Apr color challenge

Isn’t it such a happy spring color? Well, it deserves a happy card to go with it – check it …

GRS Apr 25 Color

My patterned papers were all from Momenta, my adorable bicycle and matching sentiment is from the Truffle set – Riding a Bicycle. I love this sentiment because it’s encouraging yet not depressing – hard to find a sentiment with this upbeat feel. I also doodled the frame – been dabbling in a bit of doodling in my art journal lately just experimenting. I will find the courage to share my art journal hopefully soon.

Enjoy the happy color inspiration from the rest of my team:

Gourmet Rubber Stamp Feburary Sketch

Hello all,

Welcome to this month’s Gourmet Rubber Stamp sketch challenge. This one is a simple one today and definately lends itself to a CAS card … right up my alley:

Strangely, I just noticed I like horizontal layouts so I always flip my sketches … here’s my take:

This truffle set – Music -  is one of my favorite! Those little banner is actually from Jenni Bowlin chipboard banners and I covered them with washi tape. Check out what the other girls on the team did with this sketch and which stamp sets they used:

Pizza Time

Hello everyone…

Is it already the 1st of September? Where on earth has summer gone? School starts in 4 days for us and DS will be in 1st grade – wow, where has the time gone? I’ll let you know in 4 days if how I’m feeling about my baby going to big boy school.. but for now, it’s always pizza time .. this month’s new Diner Set release at Gourmet Rubber Stamps.

It’s making me hungry just looking at it … but since it’s 11pm while I’m typing this post, and it’s not a good idea to have pizza at this hour (for so many reasons), I made a card instead.

The chevron stamp background is a fairly new release from Gourmet Rubber Stamp and you can find it right here. I love that it comes in a coverall size ( 5 3/4″ x 5 3/4″) and I just masked off the section I needed!

Check out what the rest of my talented team mates did with this delicious set!
