New Diners Set June release

Good morning everyone,

It’s the 1st of the month and there is always a new Gourmet Rubber Stamp Diners Set release on the 1st of the month. Check it out …

The Seed packet image was what caught my eye 1st and this is what I created.

Paired that with the strawberry plant from May’s new appetizer set and the watering can from the Water your Soul appetizer set and some Lily Bee Design (red checkered – love that the paper looks like a picnic mat), Making Memories (strawberry paper) and Papertrey Ink fence and doily die to get the sweetest little homely card I’ve made. There is still more to devour in this Diners Club set! Sigh – I love this life.

Another Masculine card

Hello everyone,

I notice that lately, I’ve been doing a lot of these masculine cards – it’s much easier after a few go-rounds. This is also the theme for the monthly DT challenge at Gourmet Rubber Stamps.

This image is from Gourmet Rubber Stamps - such a cool vintage classic car. Except I’m not good at vintage cards so I adapted and went with a modern clean and simple card. I love how the chicken wire template I had used to sponge the left side of the card looks like tire skid marks – really unintentional. Ribbon is from May Arts and those cool brads – sorry, it’s really old from my craft supplies.

Take a look at some of the masculine cards the talented ladies have created:

Bee.

Good morning everyone,

Here is today’s card!

The stamp is from Gourmet Rubber Stamp – Spring Botanical set. Technically – it’s a wasp – I had to google the latin name for it (which are the words under the wasp).

I also have to confess – this is the 3rd version of this card I made. I wanted to create a powerful statement with this amazing stamp – the simplest is always the hardest; I guess I could continue fiddling with it but I have got to stop somewhere. The kids are hollering for food.

New May Appetizer sets by Gourmet Rubber Stamp

Hello everyone,

I want to introduce Happy Independence and Strawberry Sweet. Two new appetizer sets by Gourmet Rubber Stamp!

How cool are these sets! Makes me all ready for summer and 4th of July! I used the Happy Independence set on my card today – love the the old world tradition in the font and the flag.

I used the Strawberry Sweet with the new June Diner Club set, which I will be posting on June 1st. So watch for it …

In the meantime, check out what my other team mates have done with these cute appetizer set – it’s simply inspirational galore:

Hello everyone!

Today is my 1st post for Gourmet Rubber Stamps and incidentally, I’m showcasing May’s new release for the Diner club stamp sets. What’s a Diner’s club? It’s an opportunity to get fantastic rubber stamps at amazing discounted prizes!

I love how versatile this set is – masculine, feminine, vintage and whimsical, sentiments for different occasions. Really well thought-out designs – thanks to Meridith and Tricia!

Well – here is my card:

Background papers are from Teresa Collins, lace is from Prima. Bird was paper pieced with some scrap from my craft supplies and colored with Copic Markers. Please visit the GRS blog and my GRS friends for more ideas.
